I guess it's been SIX months, so it's time to be inspired once again. I finally figured out how to connect the little camera I found at the park in Teasdale (two years ago) to the computer. So, here is a representative collection of photos from the past two years.

The mold for the bouncy balls.

Our new stove in the background.

The girls on New Years making rubber bouncy balls (from a kit)

This was a serious mess--Bad Santa (what were you thinking?) I'm still finding little chunks of the substance in unexpected places. Don't know why Georgie's standing in a box.

And the rest of the Gilberts

My beautiful mom at Dad's interment

My father's burial 2/25

Obviously, this was a very sad day for us. But I was happy to have my family by my side. My mother was beautiful and strong on a day when she lost her partner of almost 60 years. I will always look up to her and want to be like her in her quiet strength and generosity of spirit.

Martin Luther King Rally

The girls and I marched with cousin Julie and daughter Imani on MLK morning. Friends Stella and Lucy also joined. I love that my young girls know so much more about the legacies and histories of the US than I did even much later. The refreshments weren't bad either.

Christmas Eve 2010

And Finn played a guitar solo--including a song he wrote! He's a lovely boy. I will post the video when I learn how...
